·     增加专利年费第10到14年的年费增加50澳元；第15到19年的年费增加130澳元；第20到24年的年费增加250澳元。

·        增加商标申请费，大部分商标申请费将每类增加130澳元。例如，商标申请费将从每类200澳元增加到每类330澳元，商标续展费将从每类300澳元增加到每类400澳元。商标费用的增加将部分地被取消300澳元的商标注册费所抵消。最终，注册商标的整体费用将下降。

IP Australia (the government body incorporating the Patent,Designs and Trade Mark Offices) has announced changes to some of their officialfees which are proposed to take effect from 10 October 2016 (subject toamending regulations being made).

The most notable fee changes relating to patents and trademarks include:

• Increases to patent renewal fees, with a $50 increase inthe 10th to 14th anniversary range; a $130 increase in the 15th to 19thanniversary range; and a $250 increase in the 20th to 24th anniversary range.

• Increases to trade mark application fees, with themajority of trade mark application fees increasing by $130 per class. Forexample, trade mark application fees will increase from $220 to $330 per class,and trade mark renewal fees will increase from $300 to $400 per class. Theincrease of trade mark fees will be partially offset by the removal of the $300registration fee. This should consequently mean that the overall up-front costto register a trade mark will be reduced.
